Introduction to Women's Self-Defense is a two-hour workshop taught by women for women and will teach the student basic defense techniques against an unarmed assailant, including the 5 weapons every woman possesses and the 4 offensive target areas on the would-be assailant.

The instructor is Sandy Thomas, a San Francisco native and a past executive co-chair and chair of security for Women Take Back The Night.  She has conducted numerous workshops for non-profits, neighborhood watch programs and fundraising events. She holds an M.S. from CSUS where she studied under Sensei Midge Marino.
